It’s been almost two years since Keisha Buchanan was kicked out of Sugababes, and bar a couple of leaked tracks we’ve heard very little ever since. That’s all about to change, however, as the former ‘babe finally launched her solo career last night with an acoustic showcase at Jacques Townhouse in London. Buchanan performed new tracks ‘Fearless‘, ‘Carried Away‘ and ‘Beautiful Mess‘; plus covers of Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’ and a mash-up of Beyonce’s ‘Run The World (Girls)’ with Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'; plus solo takes on Sugababes’ classics ‘Push The Button’ and ‘Overload’. With Sugababes about to release their eighth album, it’ll be interesting to see how this all pans out.
Apparently last night’s performance was filmed professionally, but for now here’s a clip filmed by an audience member.
